It is a small but striking natural bay, located in Panza, in the municipality of Forio d’Ischia. 2. Sant'Angelo
Ancient village and wonder of nature
Sant’Angelo is located in the municipality of Serrara Fontana and is the characteristic village of Ischia embellished by the beautiful islet rising from the sea. In years past it was a fishing village, today instead Sant’Angelo is one of the most elegant and exclusive haunts on the island, without having lost its unspoiled nature. Interdicted to cars, the village can be reached comfortably by a practical two-wheeled vehicle!
3. Monte Epomeo
The gentle giant
Among the various mythical places of which Ischia is rich, a place of honor surely deserves Mount Epomeo. Indeed, it is said to be one of the few access points to a kingdom located at the center of the Earth. The mountain, of volcanic nature, is 789 meters high and along its sides there are many paths leading to the summit. From there it is possible to enjoy spectacular 360-degree views. To get to the top it is possible to travel a section of paved road by scooter and then continue on foot!

5. Maronti
The ancient quiet beach
Maronti beach is located in the municipality of Barano. At three kilometers long, it stands as the longest beach on the island. It embraces a vast and unspoiled portion of the sea, and behind it the rocks and slopes protect it, making it unique. Adding to the beauty of the place are the natural hot springs that flow from the “caves,” natural spaces within the rocks where you can soak in the warm waters of the island. Maronti beach can be easily reached by scooter and then enjoy the long walk by the sea!
